Do you or your colleagues work directly with families with pre-school age children (0-5 year olds)?
Everyone who works with families of young children can play a critical role in supporting their decisions to take up early learning and childcare. Understanding the different free early learning and childcare entitlements, talking confidently and positively, and understanding what motivates families can support take up. Families often perceive all sorts of barriers to using childcare – we can all help break these barriers.
Changing Lives Through Childcare is a short interactive workshop designed for everyone who works directly with families with pre-school age children.
Research shows that early education at a high quality early learning and childcare setting helps to give children the best start in life and can make a real difference to their future, childcare also lifts families out of disadvantage by supporting parents’ economic and employment choices and opportunities.
The event will provide information and resources for parent-facing professionals, providing an update for more experienced professionals as well as being informative for new team members.
Please find attached a flyer which includes more details about the event and how to book a place. I would be most grateful if you could share this email with colleagues who would benefit from attending and can help to raise awareness and take-up of the free early learning and childcare entitlements.
