Compliments and Complaints – Children’s Social Care
July 18, 2017
As you know we are on an Improvement Journey for our Social Care Services for Children.
As a Senior Leadership Team we know the importance of understanding and dealing with issues as they arise, and being able to retain confidence of our schools.
We have encouraged schools to feedback to colleagues in our Social Care part of the service where there are specific challenges or operational issues.
Additionally, we have asked that where schools have great experiences that they also feedback compliments as this helps share best practise.
To ensure concerns can be addressed promptly, Linda Patterson, one of Anne Coyle’s Heads of Service has asked that any concerns or compliments be sent to the following email address, rather than to Anne directly as this will enable a swifter response. Of course Anne will keep sight over this and be keen to continue to work with schools.
Therefore could I encourage you to email;
FSCPSeniormanagement@kirklees.gov.uk
And include the initials and date of birth of the child,
The name of the child’s social worker
The name of the school
A brief outline of the issue.
And, as reminder, there is the telephone line in place, where colleagues are able to have a professional conversation where they have a concern about a child. That telephone number is 01484 456848.
Thank you
